Ready to book your session?
Here is a quick list of commonly asked questions and tips for having the perfect session!
~ Payment for portrait sessions is due at the start of the session. I accept check and cash only. Prices are set for the time and talent of the photographer, and are non negotiable.
~ Every session comes with an online gallery containing 25+ timeless keepsake photographs. Each photo has been artistically edited and professionally enhanced to meet my personal high standards. I want you to love your photos and treasure them for years to come, so rest assured I will give your pictures the attention they deserve.
~ Edit times for portrait and engagement sessions usually run about 2 weeks. During my busy season in the Fall, sometimes this time changes to 4 weeks.
~ Should you need to reschedule due to illness, please give me 24-48 hours advance notice if possible. You are allowed one event of rescheduling but please give me as much notice as possible. Please don’t reschedule for minor skin injuries. If the weather is torrential and we cannot shoot, the session will be rescheduled. Clouds, wind, light sprinkles, and snowflakes aren’t a problem and I usually go ahead with the shoot in this case.
~ If you choose to purchase the high resolution files you will be provided with a flash drive containing the files and written permission to reproduce the photographs.
~ I am happy to help with any matting, framing, or other photo presentation techniques – so please do not hesitate to contact me with any photo projects you may have regarding your photos from our session.
~ While it is great to bring a support group to a session, unplanned individuals or “tag-alongs” can be distracting or a hindrance to a photo session. Please be advised that personal sessions like portraits and engagement sessions are best kept to the individuals being photographed.
~ I love creativity and new ideas – so if you envision your photographs with a certain theme or props, please let me know! Photo sessions are about capturing your personality – so let's have some fun!
